Academic Readiness

We will work together to learn letters, identify numbers, practice rhyming, and write the letters in your child’s name. Some additional areas that could be added include: cutting, puzzle completion, shape and color identification, following directions and basic reading comprehension.

Social Awareness

We will collectively work on social and emotional skills including: turn-taking and waiting patiently, sharing with others, and showing respect for others. Social development and play will be valued and emphasized during these sessions as they are pertinent for kindergarten readiness.

Sensory Integration

As a break from academic learning, we will incorporate 45 minutes of sensory child-led play each day to encourage each child’s imagination and love of discovery and multi-sensory learning.
